Info. on Peg has been passed on through her brother. They have set up a page on Facebook, Peg Lalor, which has all of her updates.
Just spoke to his dad...he is NOT in a coma, but is still unconcious. He is responding. The best way to get info. at this point is to go to Marshall Jacoby on Facebook....he is adding a ton of friends right now...I talked to him about setting it as a page for updates for all of us to see....at this point it is just time...the family is overwhelmed by the love for their son & Thank everyone for it. MIKE OPENED HIS EYES!!!!!!!!!!! He is going for an MRI and will be moved out of ICU into a regular room.....updates will be coming as soon as I get them !!!!!!
He is still in ICU, was moved to another room which has light in it. He is moving and responding to emails, and posts from people. The family is asking everyone to post stories and funny jokes so they can read them to him....

He was riding Post Canyon alone. Had an accident, broken jaw and head trauma...caused him to remain unconscious. Someone also riding found him. They lifeflighted him to OHSU, after days there, they gave him a drug to help him regain consciousness. He is now in another ICU room with light, is having movement and responding. The paramedic said he did not even recognize him. It was a pretty bad accident. They are going to do an MRI and monitor. As soon as I get more updates, I will be posting them here. If you are a friend on his Facebook page, you can send him a message...his family is reading them to him, and he is responding to it all !

Mike had another progressive day. Yeah! He opened those blue eyes and moved both hands on command. All but one assist tube removed. Neuro surgeon is pleased with recovery so far. Waiting for Mike to cough on command. Feeling thankful.

Latest Jacoby update from Denise Ward:
Slowly improving each day. He has opened his eyes on command, thumbs up etc...but not awake yet. They said (mom and dad) his complexion looked healthier today. They are going to start feeding him solid food. No MRI yet. Has to be able to cough on command. His blood pressure goes up when they read...... him funny Facebook posts so keep them coming.
Still no change, he is still not awake but does respond. Family just wants their privacy at this point. Will post anything if I get it.

his dad spoke on tv, channel 8 news, he is still unconscious, but moving arms, hands & legs on his own. Just time & prayers are needed now !!!!!!!

All I have as of now is that his catheter was taken out last night. Just waiting ....
I am going to THREAD these updates...let me know if it is not working, also, anyway to get prior updates into this thread? Let me know how if there is a way.

Mike is slowly but surely regaining councious..ness. Since last week he has begun responding to commands to move arms, legs, hips, and he opened his eyes several times. His Doctors requested challenge is for Mike to produce a cough. This morning he is working with a therpist. Mike sat on the edge of the bed on his own, his eyes scanned the room and he muttered "Mom". Send your positive vibes Mike's way!!!

| Just talked to Mrs. Jacoby: He's off the vent, bolts are out of his head, he said "Mom, I love you" to her, he can make purposeful eye contact and he was able to grab & hand back his iPod to her. He is able to raise his butt somewhat on command to help nurses change the bed. Going to surgery to have his jaw fixed tomor......row. Woooo-hoo! You're well on your way, Jacoby!
