HELP!! Stolen Purse and 5 m Fuel !!!

Today at the event site I went out for a session and left my 5M fuel in the bag, with my purse, my phone, my money, my wallet, my ipod, my work's passes to T Line... list goes on...

my entire life was in that bag, not to mention the kite isnt even mine...

this is a cry for help, if anyone took it by accident, or you saw someone with a fuel bag or anything... please let me know.. I am extremely bummed. I thought it would be a safe place, I left the bag with everyone elses stuff.. now I know why I dont kite there!!!

I would say call me if you hear of anything but.. thats gone!!

Maybe its about time a camera is put up so we can watch the event site- low res with a long loop to record. what color was the fuel etc so we can keep a look for it. I am sure they will keep a low profile with the kite and then it will pop up. let get after the crook.

That really sucks. Have you tried calling your cellphone in case it was an accident? Is there any way to report the phone stolen to your cell company so they can track it down for you? They probably don't do that, but they really should.

Also, if you had any cards in your wallet you can check if any charges were made before you canceled them. If they used any cards at a place like Walmart you might be able to score some security footage of the thief.

Hope you catch the SOB. I think it's time there was a camera set up at the Event Site. There's clearly a recurring problem there.

Seriously - lets put up a camera. Who can make this happen? I'm willing to put some money down to catch this guy. What authorizations would we need to get? BTW - this thief very well may be reading this forum. Just to keep that in the back of your mind.

heres a picture of the kite, the small one in the middle.. the bar should have BD on it for Brave Dave, who was nice enough to let me use his kites. It wasnt even mine!! and on top of that all my belongings are now gone!! Sad

If anyone who knows about this theft or possibly has this kite, bag and personal items in your possession, we will give you one chance to turn this stuff back in without criminal action.

All you have to do is turn the kite in to 2nd Wind Sports, Cascade Kiteboarding, Slingshot Sports, or even at one of our neighbor businesses, like IPS Skate Shop.
Or, even send us an email or voicemail to arrange a drop off for the gear and personal belongings.

**This was our Sales Rep, Brave Dave's, Fuel 5m2 Kite that was being used by our shop staff/teamrider Claire Lutz.

This kite will not be sellable anywhere in the NW, or for that matter now that we have notified all shops and riders across the country, anywere in the US.

After this week, if you do not turn this gear in, you will face criminal prosecution.

This is a one time only offer to turn in the kite before the end of the week with a free stay out of jail pass (not to mention, a 'I can still show my face in town' pass).

Yeah a bit harsh on my part. I remember once eating at popular breakfest place with 7 other guys in Hood and when it came time to pay no waitress was around so we left this big pile of money on the table. Next day the owner tells us we can't eat there because we did not pay. Our fault for being in a rush and super embarrasing. The thief could have been the waitress or somebody at the next table will never know.

wow that sucks so bad I will keep an eye out, what kind of phone and ipod so we can watch craigslist those are easier to get rid of than the kite. I know someone else mentioned it but if your phone has GPS your cell provider can often times tell you where it is.
