Hey anybody out here in lincoln city this weekend ? The guy at the surf shop told me the best place to kite around here is lands end state park, our hotel is at the mouth of siletz bay and yesterday looked like the bay could be a cool place to try it but I haven't seen anyone else yet. I don't want to be the guy who finds out why no one sites in the bay. Haha

Siletz a great place to kite with the right wind for flat water. Head south from town and make a right at the wind art place. There are some beach access points in there. Be careful of out going tides near the mouth of the bay you can get sucked out into the breakers real easy, if you have problems.

Very true, anything between south and Northwest will work, but if it comes too much out of the north, you will get shitty wind. check this forecast out, usually pretty good, has tide information too: http://magicseaweed.com/Lincoln-City-Surf-Report/316/

This evening and tomorrow should be really good for the bay! This is pretty much the best place to access the bay for kiteboarding: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=lincoln+city&sll=44.567216,-123.272194&sspn=0.007949,0.01929&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Lincoln+City,+Lincoln,+Oregon&ll=44.916871,-124.018875&spn=0.002139,0.004823&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=44.916956,-124.018993&panoid=1dZ3na9xp7GbFforxmrClw&cbp=12,279.37,,0,11.71
