BOTG Photo / Video Contest Rules:
Photos and video contest is for amateurs only. Yes, Henry and Stringy count as amateurs as they don't make their living shooting pics.
Contest starts at noon on Friday, August 6th and runs through Saturday evening, August 8th. Capture what you will.
Format:
Photos: Each photographer entered in the contest can submit up to 6 photos OR a one minute slide show.
Video: Each filmmaker can submit one video that is four minutes or less in length.
Photo entries are due by 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19th. First screening and preview will be around 9:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds camp out on the side of Pepi's party trailer. Winners announced soon thereafter.
Entries will be judged on overall quality, style, and how well they capture the essence of the event.
Prizes: (applies to both photo and video classes)
1st Place - published in one of the kite mags, Walking Man Growler, other swag
2nd Place - gift certificate, other swag
3rd Place - other swag
All contest entries will be displayed on www.botgkitefest.com and will probably be here as well.
Haven't inked the judges yet but there's still almost two weeks to go so we have time to figure it out!
If anyone has better ideas or suggestions PM me and we'll discuss.

If you have photo's for the photo comp, please pm me and I'll send you my email address. I need them as soon as possible or tonight. I've already forwarded some to The kiteboarder mag based on what we received after Saturday's comp.
Thanks to all of the sponsors, volunteers, competitors, and spectators who supported the event. It was awesome! I'll get the results posted tonight.
