WOW, 2009 rpm is a proven and world wide ridden kite.
..........I Have road, the 14m & 10meter.
Everyone can bennifit from owning a rpm.
..... Aleandro, from kite beach in argentina. Would almost solo only his 10m.
............. A normal rider would really, be the only kite you would need.
.... I am hearing this from lots of the top people, one kite one board if it doesnt work am playing golf, the huge quiver days are over!!!! BEN wilson says 7-11m octanes, thats it,nothing more. A couple guys only have a 9m,octane. and a twin tip, or surf board, thats it.
::::::::: Point is, with a 10m RPM , a surfboard, and a twin tip, would cover most ridin conditions in all the worlds best locations. _________________ -know as the SECRET AGENT- Last edited by The minnow on Sat Jun 12, 10 12:35 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Yes but you would nedd it in freestyle mode on lightwind days. Not as much fun IMO as having the right size for the right conditions. I won't be selling my 14m Thruster anytime soon. |

Quote: | the 6 RPM is my goto kite if there is wind |
I have been wondering about the 6 vs the 8 RPM. Strapless in the surf, I can go to a smaller kite but a 6M in 16-18mph? With Revs, my go to with any wind is a 9M. I have tried the 7 in that light of wind but I couldn't make it work. Is the RPM that much more efficient?
Sunday on the north coast I was on a 9m and could barely make it work (1/3 runs). Most other folks were on slightly bigger kites (except Chooch who was following in your footsteps and didn't go on the last run as it was dying, on his 7). Full disclosure, I had straps on my 5'9" _________________ Surfing is to keep the truly gifted from ruling the world. |

I would need my 9m Rev in 16-18 (150lbs and surfboard)
I was on short lines 20m this weekend - 6 RPM - 20 to 30 mph
Toby was on 7m Rev and strapless surfboard
the local contingent - 5m and TTs (they put on a bit later as things where peaking) _________________ Go Deep!

>>>>>>>>Hello, rode my 10m RPM today. Got to ride waves better then ever,
....................... My wieght is extreme, at least 300lbs. For me to ride the same size kite as other people is not normal. But thats whats been happening, sure I changed
boards got a newwer light wave 169, with a three stage rocker, and concave, its not a light wind board,,
............ So was really impressed by my abilty to ride waves with this set up, on one wave, was seriously in the pocket, wheres the camera?
;;;;;;;;;;The 10m size is perfect for most people. It also gave me a lot of speed to pass almost any section. sure at one point got worked and had to totaly eject everything and swim in, some guy rode in after it and grab it, before it hit the shore, thanks a lot to this stranger,,,,,, secret agent reports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ -know as the SECRET AGENT- |

Nice day 4 sure .. Where were you at - 'C' street ?
Maybe another good one today ..
Thinking about a DW from @ Hobsons -> 'C' - All those beaches have some pretty tasty waves .. That DW would be super sweet on a larger swell - Ventura Overhead would be breaking - Hobsons, Faria & Emma Wood all could be SUPER nice. |
