I have used the 2010 Naish and 2010 Slingshot bars. They both work great. The chicken loop release on the two is very similar.

What kites are you going to use the new bar with? I have never really mixed kite and bar brands up. Just make sure that if you find a bar you like that your line length requirements are the same as the lines on your new bar.

Good point Steve....also be sure that both the stock bar and the replacement bar have the same amount of throw. If you use a bar with more throw than the stock bar it can effect the preformance of the kite a lot.

Good idea..I am flying an eclipse thruster. I will check into that. Was anyone bothered that the Naish didn't have a swivel? I am looking at the slingshot too. Other suggestions/opinions?

The 2010 Naish bar doesn't need a swivel because the center lines don't seem to twist. The center line splits about 4 meters up the line so the 2 front lines don't twist. I hope that makes sense.
I know the Slingshot swivel is great at keeping the front lines untwisted too.
If you want to try the Naish bar out, just let me know. I will be happy to let you try mine.
