Thu May 20, 10 5:48 am Front-line release bar on Fuel--will it work? |
|
|
Has anyone had personal experience using the SS front line release system--Rev/RPM/Octane--on a Fuel? Will the release safely depower the C kite, or will I get unpleasantness?
Again, I would appreciate comments from any who have actually used/tried it.
Thanks,
Eric

What year fuel?
09-10s work fine.
I ride 06s and wouldn't recommend it.
The best option on older ones is a fifth line with a stopper about 7-8ft up the line. This way the kite flags just fine but wont invert and is way easier to relaunch.
If I have to ride my old fuels on 4 lines I just leash in suicide.

Flew the 09 and 10 fuels past 2 years. They flagged out a bit different compares with the RPM/REV/OCTANE/Key due to the C shape and no bridles. They do safely depower the kite.
