No one else here. Water level high. Looks lne drift launch out of parking lots near restrooms would be the way to go.

Looks great on the cam! Better grab it quick cause they're forecasting 90% change of rain today which usually shuts the easterly deown...

Thumb's Up

Bummer having line go over. But it was cool to have the chance to do it. I launched the kite anyway for a few reaches. Yardsale was meeting me shortly for a downwinder from home valley to Stevenson so I didn't want to keep him waiting.

We ALMOST but not quite made it to Stevenson. Ended up swimming. But I was glad to get out. Been almost 2 weeks!

Yardsale looking for his board

Lucky bastard had it wash up just below the cemetary. In case this happens to you. We were very near the Washington side when the wind got really fluky. We ended up getting out at skamaian coves. Which is about the point he lost the board. After securing my kite I tried swimming with my board but couldn't catch.

I thought i saw some kites way upwind after my sesh. got almost 2 hours of steady 7m at stevenson early before the clouds came in. killer sesh. had enough north in the wind i was able to buzz right by the chinook factory to hoot and holler at Ryan at his desk. sorry to rub it in buddy

u launch from home valley? that can be a sketchy one, but i love that downwinder!

Looks like a couple of guys out in the west winds at the Event Site this evening.
I'm not sure if it's hardcore or just desperation given the crappy wind and rain, but it is somewhat unique to get rideable East and West winds in the same day.
