Yup, It's me again. Giving you another reminder about camping reservations for the BOTG in Stevenson in June. A month away....don't delay, please PM me to let me know if you are camping in a Tent, RV or Trailer. What nights etc. No need to give me $ now, I just want to get an idea of how much space we need. So far I have 5 RV/Trailers and that's it.

Food: Let me know what you think about...

Sat morning breakfast: Oatmeal, granola, yogurt & fruit buffet

Sat night: Pot luck BBQ. If you have meat/fish/chix to grill that would be great. Any sides like salads, pasta whatever. It would be nice to know what to expect, so a PM to me about your contribution would be great for planning. Don't forget to bring your coolers & some ice.

Sunday breakfast: Swedish Pancakes & sausage

All comments & suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for your help!

Melissa

Hello Again,

Well, since we have had minimal reply to camping at Rock creek - we can't justify the expense of reserving it exclusively for our use. So camping will be first come - first serve. There are envelopes provided for camp fees.

We were going to reserve the pagoda shelter for a BBQ & breakfast on Sat & Sun - but it looks like no one is really interested. That could change if any of you lurkers or particpants let me know if you are into a BBQ Potluck. We can still have a Potluck Saturday night, but we will be risking having to do it outside (which is fine if it doesn't rain). Last year we supplied breakfast with A&J Market's generous donations & folks volunteering to cook it. A&J will donate breakfast items again this year - but a head count would be great so we know how much food we need. We would like to supply breakfast for you all but this requires rentals of chaffing dishes, coffee urns, a grill and a BBQ. Our sponsorship has been reduced and these things are expensive. PLEASE let me know if you are going to be there.

IF you prefer going to local restaurant instead - that's cool. Just let us know so we don't waste our time & resources.

Thanks!

Melissa

The Bolstad clan will be there for breakfast and BBQ on Saturday. Count on 8 of us at this point.

Hey Mel,

You can count on Phil and I for camping but not food.

Thanks for organizing!

Bump back to the top...

Melissa will get an update here in a few days when she gets a chance.

The fairgrounds is a great place to camp and saves having to drive back to Portland or HR after the event. Plus we'll be doing some preview screening of pictures and videos taken Friday and Saturday.
