I can go anywhere in the gorge today, but for some reason I want to go to Sauvie. I guess I miss the ugly bitch.

Any predictions?

Andy

I think Sat/Sun might be better with a North wind.

I don't have a babysitter until noon, but I'll be headed that way. I guess I won't be drinking beer today :O)

Yeah head east or west. Coast was ok yesterday, but looks better from the readings today.

On to another topic, hey Kramer, when is Ikite going to get that SI sensor installed?

OR should I add it to the three (3) biggest lies list, thus making the list four (4)?

First three (3):

1) Checks in the mail.
2) I love you!
3) I won't *** ** **** ****.

Good winds to all!

Some forecasts look OK. The actuals look mixed. The gradients look funky.

I kinda doubt it will go, but I'll probably head out anyway. Leave for the island ~ 4pm.

If you want an on-site, let me know.

If you get a report from me before 7pm, you'll know its because its not going off and I'm sitting on the beach.

If it was good, I'll tell you on my way home Smile

The good folks at weatherflow have been in touch recently and here's what they had to say on April 16th, last week:
"Approval just came in for Sauvie. We have to wait until mid May when the Coast Guard finishes rebuilding that nav aid we targeted but after that it's a confirmed "GO".
Let's hope it goes in before summer's over.

Flydunes, you must have drank too much to give us an update on your phone because the sensor is 3 north right now.

Glad I went to the hood. Although I made the mistake of trying to learn how to skim in gusty choppy conditions. Wow that kicked my butt big time. Had a two hour solo session after that on my twintip in the butter. Fun!

Nah, I didn't drink enough! It was junk until about 6pm and then it came up nice and strong and steady but way offshore and un-kiteable.
