So you are out for a stroll? Smile

SI sensor says: 18 Mar 3:00 pm NNW 13

.... and it usually reads lite.

I'm just leaving for SI, but the tide goes to shit about 4:30pm today, so I'm going to get some hiking in for sure.

Remember boys, girls and newbies. Tide influences are less of an issue in the Spring as there are rains and snow melt ie more water flowing to counter the flooding tide.

Don't forget, 503-543-6401 for the Scab-pooce sensor. It is the same readings as ikite, just minute by minute. Last reading at 4:10 was 6 mph from 300 degrees. Light and from the West. I wouldn't go with those readings; much too light and too much West in it.

But have fun out there. It still will be a nice evening cleaning up wood and diaper balls off the beach. Razz

Thx for the info Sasquatch. I never pay attention to tides. Why nobody at RR today? I had a great sesh from 11-1 tacking upwind. Sensor seemed to be a bit off or something.

The Corbett sensor said 8 at 1:30 so I went to si. Two solid hours on tt and 14. The only walking I did was to the car to get more beer.

You can ignore the tide until late June

But do NOT IGNORE THE ROTOR!!

Walking to get beer. Nice. I guess it would be uncomfortable to kite with a sixer strapped to your back. And, is drinking while kiting at the same time ok? I'd hate to get a ticket while riding with an open container.

I made it to rooster around 3...
2 other slingshots killing it....they left once I started riding.
I rode for a solid 2 hrs "Solo"
Perfectly lit on the 13. The wind was super steady for rooster.

Tomorrow should be sick....

Cool

I disagree. I think that would only true after there's enough spring run off. The river is running pretty low right now.

Kristan and I were the only kiters out at SI this afternoon. Wind was good early. No hiking.
