Great newsletter CGKA! You guys really go above and beyond and we're lucky to have you. I just joined as well so I'm excited to support such an awesome organization.

I appreciated the article on Lyle as well.

Just an idea, what do people think about donating funds to purchase some sort of a community watercraft to transport kiters/gear to the beach? Honestly I haven't tried getting to get down to the water this way, so I'm unsure of how the logistics would look ,but it would allow more of us to reach the beach legally and mitigate potential risks to all involved.

Again, I'm not sure about feasability of the idea as you would have to be able to transport gear/return the boat/swim back (?), but it seems that ideas are needed here. Just throwing it out there!

It's a good idea but dude, a small kayak or an inflatable canoe will work great. Pepi has some really cool foldable canoes that would make short work of this.
