funny I come here to check out what is happening at my fav kite spot and see DH posts. Looks like I'm not the only one addicted to two sports.
That is my local trail. The guys in the vid are the ones who built it. That vid is a few years old and the trail has changed a bit.

Silver star is in the okanogen so the trail must be up there. Never been to SS. I rode at kicking horse once but it was weak compared to whistler.
Good to see more dh guys out there. I sold all my DH gear an bought kites after seeing my busy break his pelvis on air supply. Stoked to be riding again and think about riding whistler just about everyday. |

yeah SilverStar is in B.C. near Veron. The sweet thing about S.S. over Whistler is you can camp right in the parking lot and no lift lines and no rain so it's great early season. Check out the wall rides at this place:

D-bag, I totally understand the secrecy. We spent countless hours building trails near mt hood. Totally secret stash for several months. The a couple strangers showed up then everyone had to be "the cool guy with the new trail info". Within a month, tons of people riding there. Riding through private land, parking like assholes. Didn't take long for the timber company to install a gate, smash the features and put an end to all of it.
