Hey Zimmerman is located right off 13th and May St. I went to him for some lower back stuff a couple of years ago and he was terrific.
Great guy,

Moto. I would recommend John Lewis of Lewis chiropractic he's in Vancouver but close to hwy 14. He is really good and will discount things if your uninsured. Best massage in Vancouver hands down is Kelly parmalee. She is very skilled and very strong. http://www.missfixitmassage.com/default.html |

MonkeyBoy, wtf is wrong with you? Lift a box wrong? I went to a chiro for weeks and it did nothing but make my back hurt more. You know they're not actually doctors right? |

Yeah, thank god they are not doctors. What is a doctor going to do about a pinched nerve in my neck? Tell me to take it easy? Give me a pill for it?
Your like the fifth person in HR that has given me the "vodoo medicine" spiel. Perhaps you were going to a poor chiropractor? Myself, I have had very good results from going to a chiropractor. If your skeleton system gets thrown out of whack and your muscles are tight then it makes sense to me to have a professional put them back in place. My old chiropractor (Dr. Lewis) wouldn't even ask me what was wrong he would just have me sit on his table and examine me and he would guess what my problem was every time. On some adjustments I was definitely sore the next day but the all the pain would go away in a day or two.
Besides, if chiropractic care has never been proven effective I highly doubt my insurance company would be paying for it. |

Voodoo medicine? HR Person? Dude, I'm just saying you should go see a doctor. Radio Frequency Ablation would fix that up real quick. |

Chiropractors rock.... But they should NOT touch your neck, imo.
I had two chiro's attemp to un pinch a nerve in my neck, and when they would crack me I would get electric shocks jolt through my body. Both brushed it off as "just the way it is." One said that "we must be rattling things around in there." Absurd and kinda criminal in retrospect.
Reality was I had a disc bulging in my neck, pushing into the mother of all nerves, my spinal column. Push enough, or in some obscure way (which can't be predicted by ANYONE), and you wont walk normal or at all the rest of your life.
How did mine finally blow? I looked up. Not the biggest impact, and far less pressure on my discs than some guy reefing on it during an adjustment.
The biggest reason I warn is in my case it was OVERWHELMINGLY OBVIOUS that I had a serious problem. Muscles spasms, couldn't walk without a limp, numbness in my fingertips. My symptomology would have been covered in the spinal damage 101 class, but evidently both my doc's diddn't attend that class.
They took about 1500 dollars from me though....
Part of it was my bad. I should have googled numb fingertips and would have come up with my own diagnosis within 15 minutes. Instead I payed 2 grand trying to find a way around western med.....
An MRI, 25 grand, and cervical fusion has me back on the water.
Fucking doctors.
Please do some research on this. I've now found too many cases of chiros adjusting necks with horrifying outcomes.
Stretching, massage, hot/cold compresses and accupuncture are the only methods of neck manipulation I would ever suggest to anyone.
Good luck.
