Just wanted to give a shout out to Jeff (twin fin) aka "motorcycle Jeff"

Jeff owns Portland Motorcycle and in the interest of working waaay to much, has also started an interstate battery franchise. I spoke with him a couple weeks ago about it and he said he can get any battery in the world: car, motorcycle, lawn mower, security lights, etc, etc, etc. If your a windsurfer, he can even get hearing aid batteries.

Anywho, my car battery has been giving me problems this weekend. I called Jeff on sunday and there was a brand new battery sitting on my porch this morning (at an awesome price). So that is pretty fucking money if you ask me. I'm a strong believer in buying local and keeping it in the kite community if possible.

So if you need a battery give Jeff a call.. 503-720-016 zero.

Just a heads up on whats happing in Battery World.

1) if you have a battery in your Motorcycle, jet ski, boat, scooter, lawn mower, a car you dont use, anything with a battery. Make sure you charge it at least once a month over night. This will help keep it alive over the winter months while not in use. Really, do it or you will be kicking yourself when you call me up in the spring to purchase the same battery that you just bought brand new last spring. Use it, Charge it, Use it, Charge it.

2) I am still offering discounted commercial pricing on every battery I have to my fellow wind junkies

3) I do free deliveries, Free mobile installation, and Free recycling.

I have just moved out of the Motorcycle Building and am now located in the
Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer Market Place, right next to the Ski Chalet, at
4749 SW 76th Ave
Portland, OR 97225
503-252-3400

When you call tell them you are a WIND JUNKIE, my people will know what you mean.

If you need any battery, I most likely have it or can get it in short order.

I got the hook-up on 5 RV batteries! Thanks, Jeff! I thought it would be worth mentioning for those who may have a use Jeff also has some sweet solar kits! I'm gonna be purchasing the briefcase portable one. Made in Oregon I believe? And a ridiculous warranty two things that will sell me on a product!

Thanks for the RV/Marine battery this week-end Jeff. Hope this one keeps us warmer during those cold Mt. Hood/Camas Valley nights!
