I have to be in Kalispell 4 April to 10 April. Flathead is near by. Any point in taking my gear. Tony lives five minutes from the lake and has already been hitting the water between snow sessions elsewhere around Montana. He tells me it's like a blowdryer for smooth winds. The air temp was only 34 degrees but I was able to stay out for a couple of hours. Give me a call when you are heading out. It should be warmer by then.
