Hey, do you think it will still be good in about two weeks. I'm planing a trip around the end of March and am hoping for forcasts just like these when I get to Kailua.
Hopein to see some tasty waves as well. See you them Tautologies.
P.S. do you think I should bring the old 14 Meter Vegas, or would a 10 Meter Havoc get me going this time of year? _________________ Eric Paulson |

hey,
well we can hope for wind, but Oahu is super unpredictable in winter. In addition it is El Nino year which should bring less wind. It can be epic..and it can be good for surf. The waves have been hammering the island all winter though so you'd pretty much be guaranteed some waves.
Generally I'd say bring the big guns...bring them all. Right now you'd be lit up on a 10. To say it this way..my view over Waikiki I am looking at pretty much a solid white ocean.
Come over with a a ton of alternatives, there is a lot of things to do here.
I'll see you over here.
Alex
ps. If no wind rent a SUP and get out there anyway. |
