Genek,

I am up there most days, and weekends for sure. Give me a shout, i'll let you now where we are finding wind. J-Mac and Monty give you all the weather info you will need. If your coming out with first timers, please remind them to walk at least 300 ft out past fences and other kiters. Once launched go explore, do not ride near the access point. This leaves room for newbies and lessons. Please dont launch and land in the road. Set a good example for local beginners as well as tourist. Thanks.

Brad Gorden,

I would love to ride these "new found areas"! Where are they? Wait... new to you, or Entirely unexplored? Some times its hard to see last years tracks.

remember Solo exploring is dangerous, always ride with a partner.

This new ranch access sounds great! This must be one big fish indeed! Based on your numbers this ranch is 15 miles by 15 miles. So what your telling us is this guy owns ALL the land from Hill City to Fairfield, and north 7miles into the national forest boundry? Hmm... Having a second career in Land Surveying I have spent plenty of time researching land owner ship. To my knowledge Sawtooth Grazing Company and half Moon llc are among the largest land owners, with a mere 23,000 acres combined. Are you sure you got your facts straight?

I would love to ride there, let us know when it is working.

You said the week was light easterlies? We were all powdered up on 10 &12 meters. With plenty of light.

Yo Ryan,

Please check your PM's and personal email today. This forum is base on sharing the stoke and not personal beefs. Talk less and ride more my brother!

Amen BG. Amen.

Butter, maybe you should change your company name to idahosnowstoke.com. That way people could tell you're the real deal when it comes to giving fun tours and lessons in the land of 'Ho?

Ryan....you're loyal to your area you feel like you developed...cool...but if you're going to tee it up sarcasm like this on nwkite people are going to grab their 1 wood and swing away. Just a crazy concept.......having somebody like Brad with the respect he has from the Gorge (land of massive kiter population) might ACTUALLY just help your business and Fairfield Idaho. Idea

We're getting skunked in that arena Eli but there were cold sunny freshies today Cool

Ione was tragically separated from the Soldier Mtn Brewco two days ago. I have no details. If we see her, I'll give her your love.

Great to see everyone out there. Unfortunately, we pulled the biggest skunk trip of all time. Showed up at 3pm Sunday in time to see everyone come off the snow and the wind die, followed by 3 days of calm beautiful sunny weather. Guess even paradise isn't windy every day...blah

It's only open Thur-Sun and we were always hopeful waiting for wind. Hiked a kicker and cornice one day. Chooch has a few clips.

I think the Prairie is almost unforecastable. The small wind climates are incredibly micro. Just saw that it's been blowing solid West overnight and right now....that's a good sign that the long light easterly snap might be ending.

Good luck!
