The one in the vid looks pointless to me. Why have an older skateboard deck on a long snowboard. The pic is definately a snowskate. There was a vid someone posted a little while back of a bindingless board used only for powder riding.

After thinking about it. The one in the vid looks like it would be good at both powder and hardpack.

Thing must not climb well-- they mostly showed it going downhill or on snowcovered road.

You folks referring to "noboarding"?
It's like, strapless.

Skip to 4min for the action.

I have 3 burton snow-decks-- I'll bring them to the soldier weekend.
They're fun, but you take a beating. Lift ops, Ski patrol aren't to hip
with the no binding "tech". I was able to smuggle a snow-deck to the
top of mountain at Squaw Valley. Rode it to the valley floor. Peeps were trippin.

There is a leash-- unfortunately it will come back at you after every yard sale.

Cool, but they gotta lose that short leash they're hanging onto. It's like riding strapless but hooked in. Just not quite there. Maybe they could design a stopping mechanism similar to skis so no leash is needed.
