Ok Homies......Just popped my first kid out.....it was exasting I'm wiped! (but my wife is doing well) Laughing

Anyhow looking for affordable ideas. I have a house payment, but two cars paid off and don't want a trailor payment. So heres my first idea. Since I spend most of my time at rufas on Mon-wen. I was thinking of getting a cheaper trailor and doing the storage at rufas for a dollar a day (if thats really what it is)

Any other idea. My wife wants to kite, but i have a newborn so i don't think the rocks and tents are the way to go for the summer.

Although I like timo's set up, its too much.

So lets have it?

Used travel trailers are pretty cheap right now. The market is flooded. Just type in travel trailer in craigslist and you'll get an idea. You don't have to get anything too fancy if you are just going to tow it in and out of storage at Rufus. Just pm'd you an one....

Mice tend to get into stored RVs. Wear gloves and a mask when you clean up the mouse droppings. Hantavirus is what you worry about.

I picked one of these up last spring for $1K. Car can pull it. 1970 Shasta 13'. It won't be as tight as this one but if you want a project...

I can't claim it, but it is nice. My trailer is not as nice but was fully functional. Had to replace some of the running lights and a propane hose. There seem to be a lot of these around. Maybe a trip down to the SW is worth it to find one that isn't being absorbed into the soggy NW landscape Mr. Green

The place next to Hattenhaur's Gas Station has a Toy Conversion with the 2.2 ltr. I test drove this last year and almost bought it, but didn't. He was asking 5k then, I'll see if it's there.
You may want to look at popups too. In Boise there is a dealer that carries tons of used trailers.

what you need is a shipping container and a bunch of windows. Would be killer to have somethingh like this at rufus.

MONKEY BOY YOUR THE FUCKING MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that idea, and the containers wouldn't cost much less than the property at rufas......and when oregon goes bankrupt and its taken over by the tri cities......I can afford the taxes!

Just kidding. but seriously.......love the containers!

There are a couple motels in Rufus one says it's $35 a night and the other one is $50 a night...not sure what they are like but it's another option.
