Or further south? Is a SE wind any good? Or is it too fluky? I may just ride my mountain boards, so I don't need as much wind; but if the wind is no good? |

SE wind is not good for the coast.
Wind needs to swing to south or SW so it is coming off the ocean for storm winds to be any good.
Best to opt for some other form of recreation rather than kiting at the beach... |

Dammit, I was gonna check it out as I drove through. I wound up mountain boarding in Long Beach for a couple hours the wind wasn't as good. Pretty fluky but I was rolling with an eleven. I was a little sketched to throw on the wetsuit, it seemed like almost straight offshore wind with an outgoing tide . I guess there was a little South wind mixed in. Certainly warmer than I would have guessed though. |
