This one's probably worse than the Moore 24 blow-up. ...A crew member said he stopped sailing for a while after this incident (from the Double Damned Downwinder in 2008.) Here's the teaser...the beginning of the end. More to follow;

Check-out the locomotive (which was likely haulin'-ass-eastbound) hasn't moved-much in photo two as compared to photo one (above.) Musta' all happened instantly...

Awesome. That train is so close that's a Gorge guster baby. They were hauling ass and BOOM 1 second later they were swimming. Great pics.

I used to sail cat's in SD bay..Hobbie 18, Nacra's and the like You really don't need a spini in high winds.. It's just dumb. If you wanna go down wind fast open up the main and the jib and then hang on to something towards back of the boat!

Can you imagine being connected to harness on a star swingin port??? LOL
