That blows. (in a bad way)
I was there too for a little bit thinking I woudnt have to worry since it was pissing rain. Sucks because I think they must be targeting kiters. They see a kite in the water and then hit the nice car. Luckily mine is a beater so I didn't get hit. Plus I left before him. How to catch thieves?

2 people in the back under kite gear with baseball bats should do the trick! Haven't run it by Amery, but Jeff thought it'd work. Thumb's Up

What did they steal so we can be on the lookout? Make sure you file a police report describing what was stolen!

Hey, I'm down for pull'n out a little miami vice.
I thinking someone else has also noticed a few more kiters in the area when ever it's brezzy/windy....So lets setup a decoy and I'll bring a couple of baseball bats.
This happens often enough to catch someone....

They got his Dell laptop, backpack, new Sony HD Handycam, point-n-shoot (pretty sure it was one of those waterproof Olympus ones), and some other shit.

Police report is a must. Amery probably had a quiver of some prototype, no graphic, rare beasts in his rig with funky pigtails attachments for testing etc. Maybe even a unique code on them so if his kites were found you will find the problem who I bet lives near the airport.
