With over 30 years of shaping experience Tony Logosz presents "the Arcane" by Slingshot. Don't call it a "boatsurfer," this is a surfboard made for the boat. Get the icy hot ready because this board will have your thighs begging for forgiveness! Made in the USA.

That thing looks cool. Tony shows how much drive it has at 3:30 in the clip after he dropped the line from the PWC.
The Arcane looks similar to some of the concept boards Kelly Slater has been showing up with at contests lately. I think this concept will have more applications than just behind the boat and small waves.
Demos this Spring Schey?

I would like to try that out on some swell with a kite. Would be interested in seeing how it handles.

I don't get the slogan:
Quote: | Don't call it a "boatsurfer," this is a surfboard made for the boat |
How could you possibly call it anything BUT a "boatsurfer" after
stating that it is "is a surfboard made for the boat"?!

Maybe cus it sounds too closer to "butt surfer"

Anyone try this thing yet? I'm dying to know if this fits in a golf bag and could be a travel kite surfboard. Is it fun in the gorge and or the coast?

We have a demo available at 2nd Wind now.
It's actually been travelling around in my van waiting to get it's first break-in session.
I'll bring it into the shop on Monday, but will have it at the Sandbar with me on Tues/Wed if anyone is interested in checking it out.
Also, will have a Roush LOAF surf/skim for some on the water comparison tests.

Pepi,
I have a 5'6" arcane and the loaf. not really much to compare they are very very different.
the loaf is a really fun board as a skim with the nice option of the fins for small waves or more grip. still is a great light wind/small wave option.
The arcane is a light wind killer. with the super flat tail rocker, it will get up and go in very light conditions. I am often the only one out when its light here on the arcane. The down side is that for me at 140 it gets over powered quickly and is wide so get a bit bouncy etc. its a very snappy and fun board over all, really fast down the line and certainly has its place in a quiver.

Call it a wake surf, and calling this board anything derogitory would be sacrilegious. Had a chance to try this board and it has been the absolute funnest thing I have surfed on behind a boat. Well done SS.
