props for the descent. Serious point deductions for acting and sounding like complete douche bags. "we are roll models" "we are really pioneers and other are going to follow in our footsteps" "we are doing this" " we are doing that".
Would have been allot cooler if they just showed up and nailed it instead of expounding about how cool they were. |

Its got to be a joke. Pretty funny shit though. Amazing decent.
The Topo Duo and other two-person kayaks have long been a laughing point for many kaykers so I think that the whole stunt is pretty much being considered a joke by most of the kayaking world. None the less- woah, Middle Palguin is a huge drop.

I agree. Just do it. Having a plan is overrated. Its not like Ruben or anyone else ever plans to do huge loops... they just happen by accident when he pulls the bar too hard...

Come on Mr. Serious. You gotta read between the lines. Those guys were pretty funny, and have some big brass balls. Tandem snowboarding and skating? That'll happen right after pigs start flying.

Steve is a very funny guy. I have spent some time around the guy and I don't think I have laughed as hard since. He doesn't take a lot of things too seriously.
The funnier thing about that video is that Jackson built a tandem creeker. Tandems are serious business in the slalom world, but creeking....It must be all about the laughter factor. |

monkey, could you really not notice the sarcasm?
i remember when pro kayakers seemed to take themselves a bit too seriously. now that the industry has all but collapsed, it's nice to see that those who remain have a sense of humor. |
