Why are they not open on weekends, if even for an hour?
How else am I going to buy a new wetsuit?

If you know anyone with a computer , that fancy intranet program usually can correspond with them magically .

Then a strange service will literally deliver it anywhere on the planet...so I am told. pretty cool.

Yesterday in florence the promotion 6-4 had me steamin with no gloves or booties.

There isn't a wetsuit shop open on the weekend at your launch at fernridge??

I smell a bus op.. Twisted Evil

there's both Tactics and Boardsports in Eugene that carry really nice wetsuits. Nothing against Promotion and the people who work there but their suits are not as good as many other companies out there. ION makes a killer suit with some great features, and I've been really stoked on my Billabong solution gold 5/4, toasty warm.

Do they have online fitting rooms too Rolling Eyes ? (Yes, I've seen the sizing chart, but that's not always accurate enough)

How are the "kite-specific" suits different from their "wind" suits? I haven't been able to distinguish a clear difference.

The kite specific suits are a little more flexible in the upper body than the other ones im pretty sure. And I am super stoked on my Promotion wetsuits, I never get cold in them ad have never had a problem with leakage, I cant say the same for those designer suits that DROCK is trying to sell you.

Spike,
Go out of your way to try on and get a Promotion wetsuit. I have had one for years and LOVE it. Windskin on top and nice and stretchy.

If you call on Monday and have a tape measure ready I bet they can put you in the right suit over the phone.

Good luck.
Mark

Fit is most important feature IMO - and Promotion will make sure your new suit fits. They even altered stock suits for me in the past to get them to fit better - that is service you won't get elsewhere.

just don't store them inside out or else the wind skin will stick and next time you go out you'll look like you got attacked by an animal with claws.

I have promotion suit now, its 4/3 and getting pretty old (2004). They have always repaired the seams at no cost, which is an amazing service Thumb's Up. I will definitely go out of my way to get another (3 hour drive). But if debating whether I can just rely on buying another one over the phone in the same size since it still fits perfectly.

I do have the "animal claw" marks on the wind skin, especially on the lower legs, but I think I remember them saying that problem had been resolved a few years ago. I will give them a call tomorrow.

You can store them inside out, but not in the back of your car in the heat of summer. They fixed the problem for 2006 to recent.

Promotion Rocks!

oops... turns out they ARE open on the weekend Embarassed , from 10am-4pm http://www.wetsuit.com/web/our_store.cfm.

In my defense, the phone message only mentioned the phone order hours.

I'm pretty stoked to get a new suit!

Does anyone know if they have updated their models or product? I have been occassionaly tracking their suit in the hope of getting one, but the website has the same stuff for the last 9 months (same prices, same sizes)? It seems to me they would have something new to show? I havent called, but just wondering? Anyone know?
