Nice shots Mark! #5 is my vote for best kite-scape this year. #2 is absolutely gorgeous. Very, very nice! Thanks for coming out. Glad to see you up and about again!
Not even a little bit cold today. Think about it, it's a lot warmer out than hitting the mountain... If you're dressed right anyways. WAY overpowered on my 9m today. RR always looks less windy than it really is. Self landed the 9m REV by putting the kite on it's edge on the ground then releasing to the safety. Always works great. This time the kite de-powered, slid downwind, popped up in the air a little bit, then gently, yes gently, touched down. POW! The LE split in two. Not a longitudinal tear along the seam, but one section separating from the adjacent section. A circular seam failure.

nice pictures Mark!
that 2nd landscape shot is mindbending
like Nak said not cold at all - as long as you have hoodie, gloves, fleece, long underwear and a drysuit
good to have a buddy with you this time of year (or anytime its crankin windy) - was carving a hard turn, slipped, the board took flight and caught me square in the face - took most of the impact on my cheek bone (made a cool clunking sound) - not too bad but could easily been knocked out a few inches difference...

| Seriously! Just saw the frost outside. Not stoked. What's the best website for checking water and wind temps?
