Hey Jacob,

I love tacos! Especially Taco Time tacos. It was heartbreaking when the Hood River Taco Time turned into a Starbucks. Maybe that's why I don't get out to the Gorge much anymore. Seaside Taco Time has some of the best tacos ever!

Thumb's Up

The Stand is excellent. So is Casa del Sol!! Best eats for the value. You can practically eat for a day on their burritos.

Great thread. We need to get this off our chests.

Taqueria up the hill in HR is killer, authentic style. Only wish it were closer to the Sandbar.

Yes, it was a sad day when I drove to TacoTime in HR after a session at the spit and discovered that CharBucks had taken over Mad .

Por Que No must practice discriminatory hiring practices because it seems that all the ladies that work there are hot--they must have learned from Sam's down in Tiburon, Marin Co/Bay Area. And yes, Por Que No makes awesome food and drink.

Left coast at Manzo is pretty good. What is the place in Santa Barbara that serves those huge chicken burritos? What would be my vote for West Coast USA.

Why do you think I moved to The Dalles. Taco Time is still rockin' it for the blue collar red-haired step child Gorge crowd. Love those tacos, mexi fries and crisp meat burritos. Twisted Evil

Por Que No on mississippi rules compared to the SE location. The food is just not the same, maybe its the attitude...

If your over in the NE area ya'll should hit up toro bravo. Its not on mississippi but its some of the best food in the NE area. Ate there again last week. Soooo god damn good.

Be prepared to wait for a table....for good reason...

oh yeah, prepare to drop $60-80 for two people as well.

(so those that have chosen the live simply path will have to simply enjoy taco time)

I second Casa del Sol in Seaside. Especially their carnitas plate. The best after downwinder place in town.
