EASY THERE SPIKE  HIGH TIDE IS AT NOON @ 9.3 THEN SUCKING OUT TO A NEGATIVE .08  THE SALMON ARE RUNNING NOW THAT WE GOT SOME RAIN, COULD BE SHARKY  STAY AWAY FROM THE MOUTH AND DO NOT KOOK OUT AND NEED A RESCUE, RESECT THE LOCALS  have fun

That tide change is extreme. It's not going to be kiteable for too long after noon - probably hold out until one, then start swimming ... with the sharks!  At least it's not freezing ass cold out yet.
FYI - We're showing up early - we'll see if the wind decides to do the same.
I know there are sharks in the Siletz, but I've never seen one - only a whole bunch of little seals... Any of you locals see them?

Wow ... didn't expect that much wind at the Siletz. Upper 20's w/ gusts into the 30's. Lit up on our 7m's.
Got a little wet ... a little hailed on it, but it was sunny by the time we packed up!
Nice storm session & we didn't get eaten - although there were times I was expecting it!

Conditions were good: Glassy (not a single ripple) smooth water and 30+ winds.
...though the water was dark purple , not sure what that means.

Good times hanging with Reaper and Spike. There was a pretty big area of super flat water!!! Was money!!! Lit on my 7 - wait for a big gust - crank my kite - and just hang on!!!!! Dange this!!! LOL

It was the best ever!!! 
By the way - we were trying for a record - we fit 3 dudes, 3 boards, 11 kites, and three gear bags in a toyota corolla that didn't have a rocket box. It was a tight fit. Reaper had to sit on Spike's lap for most of the way (but that was their choice - there was an empty seat )
