What you guys think -

Some times I think a break from regular sessions lets me step back & refocus, and come back with more stoke and perspective.

I really liked focusing on snowboarding for the winter, and thought it helped me with my kiting as well.

Totally agree with ya, Chris. Breaks are good unless you're doing insanely techy freestyle stuff like the pros.

I used to be all about kiting through winter, but nowadays it's just too much work. Ended this season before the water even dropped into the 50s. Rather just snowboard and snowkite more (as long as it's not in Oregon). Wink

Hey Chris,
You should take up another sport to enhance your kiting skills......like surfing.
If you have the right gear its not that bad, if its not blowing you always got the surf.
I just started surfing 3 weeks ago and have to say it is a very humbeling experience.
Those fun little wave a the coast look really big when you are laying on a board.
Tomorrow is calling for 9.5' at 15 sec.....BOOMS! still fun in the shore break, cause thats where I will be Very Happy Unless of coarse if its blowing then Very Happy Shocked Very Happy Shocked Very Happy Shocked Very Happy Very Happy Shocked

Totally admire your 'seasonless' approach to kiting in the NW Gman - your dedication shows.

I agree.
Tis surfing season.
Just dont come to the cove or the point it's already too crowded.
Surf all winter, kite all summer.
