Actually got quite a bit of longboarding in yesterday, and a killer downwinder sesh Sat.

Just thinking its nice when you don't feel guilty for not chasing the wind all the time... that's the way I feel most summer, gotta chase it when the gettin is good.... because by mid January I'm jonsen so bad.

It is a bit nice to just say "whatever" when its windy. Yesterday was fun at RR and all but kiting when wearing gloves..kinda sucks.

You go to Smith Rock and don't regret not kiting. Climbing in the sun beats kiting with gloves.

You should be getting some southerlies up there soon... down here in California we're about to be slammed with high winds and record-breaking rainfall in a "January-like storm." (It's an El Nino year and the weathermen act like they've never seen it before... slow news day). It may get under 60 degrees and people are freakin'! I'm just gonna ride my bike to work and pray for clearing winds to follow.

Let me know when you guys are going again and I'm in. I was going to go last weekend but sucked back into the black hole I call work at the last minute.
