You have a look on your face like you were going thru a transition for he first time and accidentily sent your kite too fast and actually launched yourself without ever havin a boost before in your life.

One of my first big boosts.
Riding an old Liquid Force board and a 2 line flight kite.

A few guys out were riding 2 line kites.
Looks like a windwing in the background.

First time I ever rode in Hood River.
Not so crowded back then.

Given that Spike started this thread, thought I'd post up.

This is a pretty noobish shot from a Jan 2008 Fern Ridge session w/ Spike. Note board leash / pfd & diaper harness. Kited almost everyday from Dec - Jan! Amazing winter! Very Happy

Dropped my kite in the 37 degree poo water in front of the dam later that day & had to be rescued by Spike on the 16m. Memorable times for sure! We need to get out there again this winter!
