Things may turn around by this weekend on the coast - at least the wind forecast is calling for northerly direction, albeit light. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I agree, this low pressure system sucks!

I think that's pretty much the million dollar question right now. It's early, but I'd place bets on the central to eastern gorge for the weekend. The coast is looking weak, and if you get skunked in the gorge at least it's more likely to be sunny.

| A 20 kt forecast for sat n sun at south coast isn't weak but it definately may not happen. I will go make sure though foir the rest of you. |

| the "showers likely" is a bad sign for the coast, even when they are predicting N winds. it might work but i would bet against the small kites coming out. |
