I have been chewing on doing something like this since I started kite boarding. Long distance, first crossings or just some sort of kite adventure traveling seems very appealing.
I still need to become more skilled and certainly I need to be proficient on a directional board. Which I am not at this time.
Networking and knowing how to get sponsors is a must. Trying to foot the bill on my own on the cheap could make any endeavors exponentially more dangerous. |

onto sheer rock faces that are underhung

Thats one excellent adventure .
Wouldn't it be an awesome event to get something like that in the record book for the most kiters ever to make that ( or some similar ) crossing . And Snickers could give us the energy and say 50% of the cost for attending the event to get their name on it and .......
Would look cool though and I'd like to do it .

Looks like an asterisk to me - they ditched their sweet snickers kites 1/2mile out (who said that is cool) - got to get your toys to shore unaided to be legit _________________ Go Deep!
