OT: Anyone driving from Hood River to San Francisco?

I'm hoping to go to my friend's wedding in Hood River on the weekend of the 19th, so I was thinking of driving my van up from California on the 17th or 18th and staying for a little while. Problem is this month has been crazy busy and I'll likely need to come back shortly after. So I'm just curious about the off-chance someone is driving down to California around the 20th or shortly after. I want to leave my van up there until maybe Thanksgiving and would love to avoid the expense of last-minute one-way air fare. Incidentally, if someone needs a ride down to California later this fall let me know. (I've done two trips back and forth this past summer and had 'hitchhikers' for all of them).

I think plane tickets are about $100 ... My dad flys up from San Diego regularly and they spotted some $50 tickets last month.

Look for a guy named Duke, with an older gentleman named Sonny while you are up there. They are leaving this Monday to go up to the Gorge from LA, but not sure when they are coming back. Duke is a short, stocky Mexican guy, Sonny is about 6'2" with gray hair, Duke riding North's, and Sonny on Naish.

Thanks guys! I know flights aren't outrageous, but I might have a surfboard with me. I may just turn around and drive back myself, so if someone's in the opposite situation and need a lift drop me a line. I'll keep an eye out for Duke and Sonny. I'll hopefully be at the Event Site test riding some of JB's Bella boards... Very Happy
