Caught this on the Deschutes at 7am this morning! Dinner![img][/img]
| Description: |
| I was on the West side about 2 miles up. Spey rod, lead head leach on dry line. It hit like a truck. Took 10min. to get in! fun |

flyfishing is good right now. If you have ever thought of trying to catch a steely now is the time to do it.
Most guys go within the lower quarter mile of the river on either side. If you walk up about 2 to 4 miles and hit it early in the am you are going to get some hits.
Very fun to hook up on a steely! They jump and fight and sometimes they can just plain hit your rod so hard it scares you. I've actually fallen in the water because I was excited.
