oh man, I finally got some wind on water with the 17m at SI.
I showed up everyone was rigging 11's, saw a 10, 9m, one guy on a 15 
So I pumped 17 Zephyr, launched,
I expected to be overpowered and drug around, nope!
I expected a gust to come through and blow me off the water...nope!
Totally expected point sailing with no upwind ability.....nope!
I got a killer sesh, no walking upwind, I could make it nearly to XXX beach, before I felt like carving down wind.
UP wind, down wind, Up, loop, it felt like an 11 m at times, when I needed power, 17 METER. I flew it under full depower, full cleat, and full power. All in one sesh.
I'm sure the proto, is fairly un refined, as it doesn't come out until 2010, January 2010, not september 2009, but 2010. BUT I'M TOTALLY IMPRESSED, AWESOME 17M..
my buddy Kelton got down on it for a bit. Half my weight, the floaty-ness was quite evident on his jumps, you could see him looking down, looking down, looking down, looking down before finally looking down then landing.
IT was probably blowing 8-14mph, and I didn't have to walk.
