For those who do not use it, I can't remember a time the magicseaweed forecast hasn't been right on! Today was no exception either
Check it from 2 to 7 days in advance and it will give you a decent estimate, the night before will tell you just about everything you need to know, and the morning of it will tell you the wind speed every three hours, and is accurate to at least the half hour in terms of timing. I use it every time and every time it is right on, plus it gives you all the swell info you need (this goes for the Lincoln City forecast, not sure about other locations, though I wouldn't be surprised if it worked just as well). Forget the NOAA coastal forecast, this forecast is killer!

MSW isn't very good for wind speed.
They really only get whether or not its windy and even that's only when its really obvious.
They are good for swell. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/10069384@N05/sets/ |
