Probably the 11m T2 you already own I weigh 155 and only ever use either a 11m or 7m T2 |

I didn't research much when I bought the T2's. I fly T2's as that is what I have, and Im stoked to kite. Im sure there are better kites and someday soon I will commit to what is next...
I have kited the coast a handful of times so I am not the expert that has any place for an opinion in general, but by virtue of the post being T2 specific, perhaps I do....
My sweet spot kite at the beach is 9M. For what its worth. If I've kited Manzanita ten times, I've been on the 9M seven of them, twice on 11M, once on 7M. I weigh 180.
Again...for what its worth.
I hope I spelled everything right |

Hey man - don't pay any attention to jahmbi - he only posts when he gets drunk - he's so drunk he doesn't know where to find the caps lock button
But I hear a five meter waroo - preferably red - is the kite of choice |

Jahmbi, you make a good point with regard to the spelling of the word "kite." But really, all caps? BIT OF A FAUX-PAS, don't you think? _________________ "Resist much, obey little."

| Remember board size makes a difference too. If you don't have the money for another kite, a cheap surfboard or twin tip can give you extra range. |

Hi.
I'm 200lbs, and here in Manzanita 9m is my main kite when the wind is on. I currently have the following size kites: 7,9,12,14, the 7m has been used like only 3 times, the 12 and 14m about 8 times, and 20+ days on the 9. I had a 10m C kite that had the same power as the 9, used that maybe 6 times, then it ripped in half and I haven't fixed it yet.
If you have an 11, you are covered for the light wind days, you need something for the 20-30 mph days. Something like a 7 to 9m. At 165lbs you could make a 7m work when big guys like me are on 9ms. Maybe an 8m would be a good call.
Another heavy kiter here in town has an 11m, then drops down to a 7m, but he's on a big surfboard, big gap, but he makes it work. He's on the 7m a lot now, whereas a few years ago he'd be on the 11m and a tiny twintip all the time, so it going to depend on how much power you like to hold down. If you are into jumping, go bigger, into surfing, go smaller. |

If you get a surfboard maybe just get a 7m and see how that goes...the 7's are so fast you can make them work great with a surfboard/skimboard.
Troll is well the Troll for the new folks he's been here since the start of nwkite...try not to take him so seriously cause most of the time he's just messing around. |

Troll always posts in all caps. He isn't yelling, its just that he uses an ancient typewriter that he found under the bridge. It only has block capital letters. He is then forced to take his typed out post to kinkos to scan it into the interwebz to post. |
