I was demoing another product for them (shadowboxlive.com), but they brought the kite out for play. (wow...warning, lots of plugs) It started getting windy though, and we had to bring it in before I got to try it. It's a little gimmicky... talk about dangling. this was a 9m. Why would you take something good and turn it into a crappier version of kiting? I think the video shows this pretty well. It turns a girl who is good at wakeboarding into a kooky looking rider. Go out and convert her already! We won't mind sharing the river with another chick who rips. Besides, it's Oregon and kiteboarding is more 'green' than wakeboarding. Think of the carbon offsets, man! The paragliding community refers to it as "dope on a rope". And no one should think that parasailing is safe just because there's a concession running it.
