I finally just listened to pod cast 147 about NWKite.

Good job and way to represent! I wanted to thank you for the plug about the Wilderness Snowkite Ban and give everybody an update on the situation.
We are waiting for the Forest Service to open up the topic for public opinion before coming into law. They are being very quiet about the topic but we are expecting it sometime before this winter hits. That’s when we will show them the petition and give them our opinions. We now have over 900 signatures (mostly from Canada and Europe) but that is what we have and that is our only ammo.
Remember this is not just the Three Sisters Wilderness; it will be for the entire Wilderness in the United States. Every day more and more forest service lands are becoming Wilderness Designated areas. Crater Lake in the news last week!
