I edited the post, tuned down. Way down. Thanks for the note.
It is still pretty scary to see a child in the back pack, and dad gettin' air!
Dad, please be careful with Levi! Props for getting out.

| No worries... it's a valid concern. Welcome to the forum by the way! |

Damn straight Adam...Pretty scary - Looks like Kai might of been on an '04 fuel...
Things are much safer today - I'm sure he will be ok on an '09 fuel....

Cant you people just let a dad take care of his kid as he sees fit. Like he is going to listen to some random dude on a forum telling him how to treat his son in the first place. _________________ I heart dangling |

He better not jump from the pier though or everybody and their brother will let him know what they think and all hell will break loose |

I saw "the guy riding with a kid in his back" on several occasions in the last couple years and I have to admit that each time I worried about the child's safety. This Sunday, for the first time, I had a chance to talk to the guy (our cars were parked next to each other and, while packing our gear, we ended up talking for a while).
What I discovered, contrary to my assumptions, Jonathon put a lot of thought into "the routine" and got the safety down - that was a relief . But what really touched me is the amazing passion and love with which he spoke about his son. It didn't take too long to see how deeply he is involved in his child's life, how much he cares about him and committed to his optimal development. To be honest, it is rather seldom that I come across this level of competence, dedication, and engagement in parenting. This guy has an absolutely contagious admiration towards his son! I only wish that every child could experience this quality of parenting.
Jonathon you are an amazing dad and it was truly an honor to get to know you! |
