A place to skate wsu vancouver

I saw a thread about longboarding, so I know some of the nwkite people skate. A great place to practice in Vancouver is the WSU campus. In the late afternoon and weekends it is virtually deserted. There are some good sized parking lots on gentle sloping ground. Perfect asphalt. Also some curving walks that are fairly steep. They would make for very long runs. Too steep for me. A good place to practice with few cars and people. There is also 9 holes of frisbie golf. Views of the mountains in the distance.

I really like to skate around NE Portland with my nephew. It is always interesting to see what is on the next block. With the uneven pavement, cars and people, not the best place for me to practice. The WSU campus is great for this.

Take the 134th exit north of Vancouver. Go east to 29th street, then north to the campus.
