I have an offer to buy a 09 Slingshot Rev 13 m kite for the Hood River area.

Is that too big to fly here?

How much do you weigh? If your over 200 then I would say its not too big. Depending on how skilled you are, you may be happier with a light wind board and an 11 but the 13 would be nice to be lit up on lighter wind days.

It would also make a good sauvie kite. $700 or less.. its always nice to have another kite to get or keep you on the water. Especially if you have lots of responsibilities and not a whole lot of time to kite.

I'm 190lbs and have 7,9,11 Revs and a 14 T2. booted twin tip, skimboard, strapless surfboard, and wake skate. If there is wind enough to kite, I'm fucking kiting.

13m REV is an excellent addition to your quiver here, if you're over 190. Takes you 4 or 5 knots lower than an 11m, but is a lot faster than a 14 T2 or 15 REV. The latter two are also really nice to have on lightwind days. For in between days, the 13m Rev is the ticket.

I weigh 185 and my 08 Rev13 is FUN on Gorge lite wind days. This past weekend was a perfect example with very boosty feel and plenty of predictable hangtime to learn on and relaunching is uber easy. Also, as stated previously, good Sauvie killer.

My 13m is for sale in classifieds for $500. Only reason I'm selling is trying to find $$ for Adam's 12 RPM but I've been very happy with the 13m. Good luck.

It is a good light wind kite. It is not a good only kite for the gorge
