wind was only showing 9-14mph on the dungeness lighthouse sensor today. I'm not sure what that translates too where I was riding but it felt pretty dang light.

Christian is kiting up at Cline Spit, near Port Townsend WA. It blows on summer afternoon sea breeze pushes. Kinda feels like Jones/Alley. It is a spit inside a large (Dungeness) spit, so it's flat water.

yep kip is right.

its an evening summer thermal spot.

needs a small craft advisory in the central straits forecast and it will usually deliver between 4pm-7pm and blow until around midnight. I definitely would not recommend night kiting out there though. I think the last time that happened the coast guard had to rescue someone.
