Saturday was Best Kiteboarding's day one of a weeklong hoopla of new gear. New kites and boards. This year Best is distributing the Balance boards. Shannon is in town with ad boy Joe Ruscito. Snowkite master Jake is rippin it up there too.

If anyone sees them, tell them if they're going to ride in the Hood River, they should at least ride out into the channel as to not hog the whole area to themselves... It's the standard rule for sharing the flat water, keeping it from getting really choppy, and providing for a nice rotation.
