Heading to Floras Lake this Sunday for majority of the week.... limited on space. Wondering what (2) kites to take. I am a 200# newb. I was thinking a 7 and a 12? Think I will miss a 9, or even larger than 12?? Gonna be first time kiting there. BTY, looks like everyone launches on the north side, water shallow on that end or all deep?? Thanks for the info. Cool

The water is shallow on the north side. You can still touch bottom about 200 yards off shore (down wind).

As far as kites go I would bring every size you can, the 16-14 can be a session saver and it can get to be nuked out 7m. If your going to make the long drive you better take everything you got

If your going to be doing other stuff then I would have to say bring the 12m and the 9m and plan your tourist days around the forecast.
