Does anyone have a spare donut? It's the foam disc that goes just above the chicken loop. It provides some padding between the bar and the chicken loop when unhooking. (SEE PHOTO BELOW)

These were used on at least a few model-years of Best bars. I also have seen them on Royal bars. Maybe other bars as well?

Alternatively, any suggestions on where to buy a similar foam to make my own?

(If you're wondering, I'm building a Frankenstein bar by combining parts from a few different brands.. the chicken-loop-to-bar interface is not perfect when unhooked, and some padding would fix that).

Thanks,
Jonah

I believe they call that a stiffy disc. I didnt see it on the Best website under replacement parts but just post it on the forum and Simon (moderator) or Neco Im sure will give you the answer.

The stiffy disc was on at least the 07 and 08 bars. The 09 switched to a different CL setup and the disc went away.
