About 6pm when everybody was on the water-- someone did a smash-n-grab and took a GPS out of a subaru. Felt bad, 'cuz it was a kiter from Montana. No other cars were robbed. Just make sure you don't leave anything visible in your ride. I think the crackheads probably post look outs on top so they can warn off who ever is doing the smashing when someone is coming up the dike. If other folks are on top of the dike, the bad guys wouldn't be so invisible anymore. I hope the break-in got reported. They almost cut funding for Larry Weaver (the sheriff who patrols SI) last year.
