ok. no pro, but they say if things go wrong it happens to me, and has? thats why am a good tester& desighner just not spelling!!!
>>>>>>>> so the standard seems to be push but i disagry, its definetly hard getiing tumbled to eject with push!!, jeff tobias says get it in the air thats the best advice!!
eject is a bummer, but when you need it,you got to be fast, and a little premature and a friend screaming is better, being solo sucks! the design experts are so stupid, push in the dirrection of pull? but they all say its good, i say pick your best bad smell!!!!
>>>>>>>> will see what 2010 has to hold? give us options i say three differant bar set ups , one kite!!!
>>>>>>>> the thing about pull is false ejects! so the solution is not easy!!!
>>>>>>>>>>> we all might just start new a throu the harness away , no hooking in only a leash belt? wake kitting, we never hooked in water sking? ride like dimitris son , no harness lots of down winders? serious sailing sucks! the wind is a mountain, ride up the mountain and down it, not back and forth!!!!
>>>>> or forget kitting and go to disney land>
>>>>>>>>>> and no i dont have the strength to ride unhooked but still dream!!!!

in my experience pull style safety's don't work when the kite slack lines before it falls through the powerzone. This is because there is nothing to pull against except slack lines.
I've been supermanned a few times because of this.
I've also had pin style pull safety's bind or jam on me before while I was being dragged on my back through a snow field, not fun! the pin didn't release until the kite hit the ground. kinda pointless by that point right?
because of these experiences I will always use push style safety's or at least until they invent something better then what is currently available.
also regardless of if its push or pull I think loops are terrible. there should always be a trigger, coller or large ball to grab. I can't imagine trying to stick my finger through a loop while I'm flying through the air about to land in a pile of rocks especially if I'm wearing gloves since 6 months of out of the year gloves are almost required. _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |
